oh my gosh! that left me speechless yet smiling, I;ll be sure to check back next week!
Accurate summary, thanks.
Stats Schmats. I like to boil things down to their essence for the time conscious consumer ;)
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

I think I might have to borrow your "format" for my next market report.
It's a good time saver, Melina.
Hoping I won't have to cut and paste this effort for future reports, KM.
It could prove itself to be quite a task Paul. I had to edit my HA's, I apologize. They were out of control. KM
This begs the question....why am I wasting time creating charts?
Your HA's were stretching my screen, you nutty girl, you.
Only you can answer that question, Lis ;)
I like a man who gets to the point Paul. No beating around the bush. Hopefully my comment will add to your point total since the less than 50 words didn't do anything for you. We don't need no stinkin' charts!!
Of course ... I could probably break this out into a graph. Give me some time, and I'll make this more palatable for the more visually inclined learners.
Not positive, but I'm pretty sure they deduct points every time I post, Gary. Bob Stewart has been trying to kill me for months.
HAHAHAHAHA - I LIKE IT! To the point, concise, and certainly not embellished!
No one likes puffery, Leesa. Except Bernie Madoff, maybe.
Can I re-blog this? I find its content very pertinent to todays markets everywhere! LOL...Nothing like keeping it real! :)
Concise, to the point... what an appropriate update for a Wordsmith, such as yourself.
I dare you, Tara. That would be just about the funniest use of the reblog yet.
Some days, the words just don't feel like showing up for work, Alan. I must entertain myself in other ways when the thesaurus phones in sick.
Paul- Now this is the kind of post that should get at least 100 Comments! LOL! Love your honesty.
Simple yet powerful, plus very easy to read. All and all, one of the best posts I've read today.
Katerina, this is the kind of post that should get me shunned by NAR.
Dan & Amy, you haven't read too many posts today, have you? ;)
Paul, a fantastic market summary that could be used in many locations across this great land. Are you sure that one week is enough? Maybe folks should check back in a month or so.
Good point, Brian. These do take a lot of prep work, too.
...!
LMAO- This is my favorite market report ever, no graphs or boring stats and long copy to sift through. I know this was just a smart niche marketing strategy to reach minimalist clients. You are one smart marketer Paul Slaybaugh.
Howdy, Russell.
That's exactly the strategy I was aiming to employ, Rebecca. Yeah ... that's it.
Shun on! NAR! I am so sick of them asking me to do their bidding! Those bogus support emails I get; get my blood churning! Let 'em have it Paul!
I'll echo what Kristin said - ha ha.... perfect! I think I get the picture. ~Rita
Rita, you are looking more and more like your other half these days ;)
I love it! And it's great that you included this in the Market Reports Group! too funny, thanks for the smile!
lot of info there....... shoot I actually had to go back and read it through again.... eheheheh.... sums it up - says it all - short, sweet and to the point....
Krista, you gotta take a joke all the way if you're going to make it work ;)
Valerie, Sorry to inundate you with all of that data so late in the day. I know I demand much of the reader.
Hi Paul, There you go again, just in a few words, you said it all . You are really good , :-)
Oh, I forgot to mention Paul, that I think I received more points for my comment comments than you did for the post, LOL
Hi William. It is a grave injustice, is it not? Such a peeling-back-the-top-on-a-can-of-unadulterated-truth kind of post will net me a big fat zero. That's okay. Hard to play the martyr when you get what you want.
Paul - Would you care to summarize your report please, I'm kinda sleepy and don't feel like reading both sentences. Toooooo funnnnny!
It's a good thing you didn't include September through December, Erik. Would have needed a new baseline.
Can I copy your report Paul? I don't want to go through the trouble of creating my own and they're about the same anyway....
Knock yourself out, Mandi :)
Seriously... why drone on about numbers nobody really gives a screw about, right. Just get to the heart of the matter. Love it man.
Best marketing report I have ever read
What? Well at least you are having a good time right???
Nice! Short and to the point. My market is the same way but have never thought of posting it that way.
Love it ! Not that your market is not good, but hey just cut to the chase.
I've been dealing with a couple of colleagues down there on Canadian referrals and I hear you.
Terry - If those are buyers you are referring, then you can flip the report on its ear. They are heading this way just in time to take advantage of perhaps the greatest buyer's market of our lifetime. If they are trying to unload the seasonal home they purchased in the last couple of years ... my condolences.
Missy - No point being Baghdad Bob.
Sean - Probably not what most have in mind by "outside the box" type marketing ;)
Paddy - I always have a good time.
Sandra - How did I know you'd appreciate it?
Jesse - Yep, cut to the chase and save the stats for the academicians.
Some of your best writing ... ouch! ;)
That is HANDS DOWN, the best market report I've ever read!!!!
I might have to make this my swan song, Jersey. Nowhere to go but down.
Pam - Thank you for fighting all of the way through it ;)
Paul, you kill me!! Lol!!! I didn't see this before.... lol!!
Unfortunately, I was lulled into a stupor by this stultifyingly dull market report.
I wouldn't go to all that trouble for just anyone Paul!!!
I love that post! What a way to say it all. I hope it's better this week. Things in my neck-of-the-woods are getting better. Even if our weather is getting worse.
